Advocates in Action Rhode Island is an independent non-profit Statewide Self-Advocacy organization. Their mission is to empower people who have a developmental disability to advocate for themselves and others, to support and strengthen the Self‐Advocacy movement and to raise awareness about disability issues in the community. They use our site to share information, resources, and news about Self-Advocacy activities for events.

In light of the current Coronavirus Pandemic that is sweeping through the world and across our country, they’ve decided to narrow their focus and dedicate this space to help Self-Advocates understand what’s going and connect with others. For this user-friendly resource, click HERE.
