RI CHW CONFERENCE – SEPTEMBER 23, 2023

Community health workers (CHWs) are an integral part of the health care workforce in Rhode Island. The Community Health Worker Association of Rhode Island (CHWARI) supports these public health professionals by offering training, certifications, and information related to community health. CHWARI, with support from the Rhode Island Department of Health, RIPIN, and The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, is planning a day-long conference to be held in September 2023 to advance the development and professional networking of community health workers. 

Join Us at the RI Community Health Worker Conference!  

The RI CHW Conference is all about celebrating and elevating the work of community health workers. We aim to provide a platform to honor the CHW profession, provide professional development, and foster policy approaches that improve community health service delivery. 

Date & Time: Saturday, September 23, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. 

Location: The Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University, 222 Richmond Street, Providence.
