RI Coordinated Entry System (CES)/ Regional Access Points (RAPs)
Are you Homeless or at Risk of being Homeless? In Rhode Island, this system applies to anyone currently homeless or at risk of becoming homeless within the next two weeks, aiming to streamline the homeless assistance process, minimize new entries into homelessness, and improve data quality through a data-driven approach.
*As of August 2025, Rhode Island has replaced its centralized Coordinated Entry System (CES) phone line with seven Regional Access Points (RAPs) to act as one-stop hubs for in-person housing assistance, shelter referrals, and crisis services. These regional hubs are designed for faster, local access to services.
